Grade compatibility
Through ANALYSIS and TESTING
Emission and susceptibility
The growing integration of the electronic systems in nuclear and industrial demands to ensure compliance with the requirements of the electromagnetic compatibility (EMC), ensuring that the implementation of the new equipment does not affect other systems, and its operation is reliable in its electromagnetic environment real.
NUCLEONOVA provides rating services EMC of equipment according to the referential international nuclear and europeans, including the regulatory requirements, as well as reference guides in the sector as the Regulatory Guide 1.180 of the NRC, RCC-E, IEC/EN apply (e.g. IEC 61000) and specific requirements of the nuclear operators.
Due to the advancement of computers and the introduction of electronic systems, there is a new need to comply with the requirements of compatibility, being able to ensure that the installation of such equipment shall not affect third parties, as well as the new equipment to install, it will work properly under the electromagnetic conditions of the location.
It is for this reason that NUCLEONOVA offers its service Qualification of Equipment for requirements of Electromagnetic Compatibility according to specific regulations, such as the Regulatory Guide 1.180 of the NRC (Nuclear Regulatory Commision of USA).
Rating seismic
Verification of the reliability of components in case of seismic events
Through TESTING and CALCULATIONS
NUCLEONOVA performs ratings seismic equipment nuclear and industrial to verify its correct operation under conditions of vibration and during or after seismic events. We apply justification analytical, numerical modeling, and essays seismic, according to the referential nuclear europeans, French and international (IEC, IEEE, EPRI, KTA, among others), ensuring complete documentation, traceable, and conforms to the regulatory requirements, and licensing.
In certain applications it is required the verification of the correct functioning of the equipment under certain conditions of vibration, or during/after a seismic event, so it is necessary to perform a process of seismic qualification.

Environmental rating
Verification of the reliability of equipment exposed to extreme environmental conditions
Through ANALYSIS and TESTING
In certain applications it is necessary to verify and justify the correct operation of the equipment under harsh environmental conditions (temperature, pressure, humidity, radiation, etc), as well as during or after events that significantly disrupt the normal operating conditions.
NUCLEONOVA offers services environmental rating of equipment, which include studies of shelf life, certification, under specific environmental conditions, aging tests and environmental rating according to IEEE and other reference applicable, ensuring the documentation and compliance required in environments nuclear and industrial.
In certain applications it is required the verification of the correct functioning of the equipment in certain environmental conditions, such as temperature, pressure, humidity, radiation, etc, or during/after an event fortuitous that modify a large extent these conditions of normal operation, so it is necessary to justify/document the ability of these teams under these conditions.
* Study of the useful life of equipment
* Certification of equipment under certain environmental conditions
* aging Tests
* environmental Rating according to IEEE or other
Dedication of components of Commercial Grade (CGID)
We carry out the activities necessary to ensure that Components of Commercial-Grade can be used in Safety-Related applications in Nuclear Facilities.
These Processes Dedication of Components of Commercial-Grade is done following the guidelines established by the Electrical Power Research Institute (EPRI) and ASME NQA-1, among others. In particular, EPRI NP-5652, EPRI NP-6404, ASME NQA-1 Subpart 2.14, 10CFR50 appendix B, 10CFR21, UNE 73.104, etc
Technical Evaluation
In defining the technical and quality requirements of the component, identifying the Critical Characteristics and Acceptance Criteria in function of the Safety Function.
Acceptance process
Through the verification and documentation of compliance with these requirements by using one or more of the methods of acceptance recognized (inspection, testing, analysis or audit of the supplier).
Qualified experts and tested methodologies
NUCLEONOVA account with highly qualified experts and tested methodologies, backed by its experience and evaluations of nuclear projects, ensuring processes of dedication robust, traceable and compliant.
Regulatory framework and reference implementation :
