This past Wednesday, February 20, we had the pleasure of receiving the visit of Humberto Verdini, a consultant to the IAEA in our facility in Valencia, with the aim of carrying out an analysis of potential collaborations.

The International Atomic Energy Agency (IAEA IAEA for its acronym in English) belongs to the international organizations related to the system of the Organization of the United Nations (UN).
The mission of the agency is to increase the contribution of nuclear energy to the development and peace in the world; it Is guided by the interests and needs of Member States, strategic plans adopted by the Agency itself and by the vision established by the Statute of the IAEA.

The mission of the IAEA is based on three pillars -or areas of work, which are:

• safety and Security
• Science and Technology
• Safeguards and Verification

In the meeting focused on the possibilities  of collaboration, both in countries that have needs in the nuclear industry (Poland, Turkey, Saudi Arabia, Bolivia, ..), as those that already have nuclear structure implanted (United Arab Emirates, Korea, …). This meeting is framed as the beginning of the development Plan in the long term in which you are working.
