After successfully passing the audit the company’s hydroelectric Korean made to our organization last January in the facilities of Valencia, Nucleonova, from the 24/02/2020, is authorized to participate in the tenders submitted by KHNP to the supply of components whose fate will be any of the six nuclear power plants (24 reactor) in operation around the whole of the territory of south korea.

During the audit, KHNP, as a subsidiary of Korea Electric Power Corporation, the company responsible for producing around 30% of electric power in South Korea, had the opportunity to witness first-hand our methodology of work, we evaluate our quality management system, know the internal procedures of the company and verify that our measurement equipment were in force and in proper working condition.

One of the key features and differentiators of Nucleonova is the possibility of offering a service of dedication on the components of commercial grade supplied to nuclear power plants. Thanks to the process of dedication and qualification of equipment, we can ensure that a component made of commercial-grade complies with the quality requirements that ensure compliance with its safety function and therefore can be considered that this component is manufactured under a quality assurance program of a nuclear installation.

Thanks to this new assessment, Nucleonova has laid the foundation for their participation and expansion in the international market.
