Last November 19, Nucleonova participates in the 15th General Assembly of Ceiden, with a total of approximately 40 attendees, including face-to-face and via the network.

NUCLEONOVA IS ONE OF THE MAJOR BUSINESS PARTNERS OF THE PLATFORM

The event was chaired by the advisor to the NSC and the president of the Platform, Javier Dies. The Council shares with CEIDEN the mission of establishing and conducting the follow-up research plans in the field of nuclear safety and radiation protection. A work that, according to its president, “is essential as scientific and technical support in the processes of analysis and decision making of the regulator”.

Serena i Senders explained to the attendees the main lines of action put in place in 2021 with the aim of improving the functions entrusted to the CSN, in particular those related to the information to the public as the establishment of a research agenda.

The main objectives of the 2021 tax by the CSN are:

• Be able to perform 15 R & D projects with a duration of 3 years.
• Funding of 4 chairs with the same duration
• Subsidies for the realization of training activities.
• Information and disclosure that will allow to support 10 projects.
• Award 6 scholarships in the field of nuclear safety and radiation protection, your call will take place before the end of the year,

Managers of the conference, Diane Cameron, chief of the Division of Economy and Development of Nuclear Technology of the Nuclear Energy Agency ( NEA) of the OECD, and Antonio Go, analyst energy Agency made special emphasis is placed on the process of transition to an energy system that is devoid of CO2 emissions.

During the course of the meeting, after the review of the most important activities since the previous General Assembly, presented the main technical programs and cross-platform. Among others:

• Pilar Sánchez, of the Nuclear Forum, as a representative of the program KEEP+, reviewed the main activities carried out and in the course of this working group formation and knowledge management, with reference to the presentation of Juan Antonio Muñoz Tirado, Director of Operations Nucleonova, in which he showed the systematic Nucleonova to manage the Operational Experience that has emerged in the development of its activity.
• On the other hand, Juan Antonio Muñoz, CEO of Nucleonova, and representative of the Group of SMES, outlined the progress made in the group, whose aim is to give greater visibility to the companies operating in the nuclear sector, making them get subsidies for the development of projects of  R & D and innovation.
