On the 2nd of July of 2021 is celebrated the 38th meeting of the Council Manager of Platform Technology R & D of Nuclear Fission (CEIDEN) in which NUCLEONOVA was one of the partner companies.

The director of the Nuclear Safety Council (CSN) and president of CEIDEN, Javier Dies, he opened the paper. This was in format online with the participation of 36 attendees associated with the nuclear sector: NUCLEONOVA, IAEA, SNETP, TECNOATOM, NUGENIA…

As opening the meeting, the Dies did mention about the recent publication of the call for projects I+D+i in the field of nuclear safety and radiation protection approved by the Plenary of the CSN and space for activities under the scope of CEIDEN.

Subsequently, the secretary-general of this platform, Paul T. León, reported on the main activities carried out since the last meeting that took place on the 18th of march, 2021.

Then, the different groups presented their different projects, developments and prospects of development. As a common element of the activities carried out by the various groups, it was found that, despite the situation of a pandemic, it has been able to make progress on the achievement of objectives.

Also, it is presented the current state of development of the program Horizon 2020 of the European Union, the European Platform of Sustainable Nuclear Energy (SNETP), emphasis is made in the adjudication of 16 R & D projects and reviewed the status of the project of the research reactor Jules Horowitz (JHR).

Finally, it was emphasized, the main objective of CEIDEN:  coordinate the various plans and programs of national R+D+i, and promoting the Spanish participation in international programs.

The platform currently consists of more than 100 members, all of them linked to the I+D+i nuclear. On this platform, NUCLEONOVA is representative of the SMES and remains true to its commitment to participating in the forums innovative, to provide the capabilities of the activities that are developed in the sector.
