As in previous years, the Society of Nuclear Spanish (ENS) has organized the largest industry event of nuclear Spanish in a few exceptional circumstances. The Virtual Meeting of the ENS was held from Monday 16th to Thursday 19 of a 100% online and maintaining the dynamics of labour, in a different format. It has been the sharing of projects and experiences of the congress participants, and a time of reflection on the major themes dominating the news for the nuclear industry:

• “Study of the Electric Arc (Arc Flash) in nuclear power plants”, presented work by John Hair (Responsible for development of electrical services) and awarded in the category of “Maintenance, Inspection and Testing.”
• “Analytical evaluation and experimental degradation by storage of elastomeric rings manufactured as a commercial-grade designed in safety-related applications”,  paper defended by Álvaro Rodríguez (Project Coordinator, Dedications and Qualification of equipment).
• Security in the recharging infrastructure for electric vehicles”,  paper defended by Antonio Puerta (Technical development of electrical services).

Nucleonova participated in the Technical Sessions with different presentations on some of the activities that are developed in the company, such as:

• “Optimization of the purchase of equipment to facilitate the acquisition of spare parts”, by Juan Antonio Muñoz (Director of Operations) and Andrea Querol (Project manager), where are some of the experiences gained in the supply of equipment under technical specifications that have not been adequately defined the requirements for the acquisition of spare parts, not having done a Classification of Components.

•  “Difficulties for the definition of acceptance criteria for a process of dedication”, of the hand of Daniel Fernández (Director-Technical), where you define the methodology to cope with the difficulties of not having enough information to define the Acceptance Criteria during the development Process of the Dedication of components that will be used in Safety-Related Applications.
• “Supervision of Maneuvers. One step closer to safety”, by Marcos Germán Rotelli (Supervisor of Maneuvers), and Juan Antonio Muñoz, where he was exposed to the importance of the supervision of the maneuvers of lifts and movement of loads, as well as operational experiences of the rigging in nuclear power plants.
