In the meeting of the Council and Manager of the CEIDEN held on the 18th of March of 2,021, we have presented the novelties of the main programs and projects in the course. Of note is made by the director-general of Ciemat, Carlos Alejaldre, who exposed the activities carried out by the Standing Advisory group on Nuclear Energy (SAGNE, for its acronym in English). This group is responsible to advise the Agency International Atomic Energy agency (IAEA) on nuclear power, the nuclear fuel cycle and on issues relating to the development of the knowledge of nuclear technology for sustainable energy development.

As in all the meetings of the Council Manager, have been presented the news and activities of the major programmes and projects in progress. as Well, representatives of the groups of training and knowledge management, fuel, sociotécnico, codes and nuclear data, patterns neutron, materials and codes termohidráulicos (CAMP-SPAIN) and small and medium-sized enterprises (SMES), through the representative of NUCLEONOVA have exposed the progress, current status and prospects for development in the fulfillment of their objectives.

in Addition, it has been exposed the current state of development of the report horizon 2020 of the European Union and have been given to learn about the latest advances in the research programme of EURATOM for the period 2021-2025 promoted by the European Union and known as horizon 2020, H2020. Also described the role played by the platform sustainable nuclear energy (SNETP).
